Crayton Cove to Host 6th Bi-Annual Palette to Palate Event On Tuesday, October 22,
 During Naples’ CityFest

Crayton Cove’s signature Palette to Palate restaurant and gallery hop takes place Tues., October 22 as part of downtown Naples' CityFest celebration. The village surrounding City Dock is known as an artist colony and dining destination, and Palette to Palate shows off its charms.

The evening begins with a reception in the lobby of the Cove Inn on Naples Bay, the gateway to Crayton Cove. Guests will be greeted with a glass of wine, and orientation to the evening's offerings.

The Cove Inn's lobby is also the setting for a gallery show with art work from the artists of Crayton Cove.

Restaurants will welcome diners with special dining options and discounts. The waterside Dock restaurant, a Naples landmark for more than 30 years, will feature “Five and Five at Five for $5," with five specially created appetizers and five bartender chosen drinks for $5 each. A 20% dining discount at the Dock will also be offered for Palette to Palate guests wearing a registration badge. The French-Mediterranean Bleu Provence restaurant will also offer a 20% dining discount to guests who mention Palette to Palate. Chez Boët, a chic Parisian-style bistro serving French comfort cuisine, will offer $5 glasses of wine and $5 appetizers in the bar salon and terrace from 5 to 6:30 p.m. as well as a 10% discount on dinner in the dining room.

Between courses, view art at some of Naples’ most prominent galleries including Arsenault Gallery, Art Gallery Old Naples 2, Guess-Fisher Gallery: Nestled in The Cove, Earth & Fire, Guess-Fisher Gallery, Nora Butler Designs, Phil Fisher Studio/Gallery, and Random Acts of Art.

Highlights of the gallery stroll
• Jan Atkielski and Carol McArdle of Guess-Fisher Gallery: Nestled in The Cove will paint "en plein air" outside the gallery.
• At Guess-Fisher Gallery, Natalie Guess will demonstrate the batik art form, which is performed on cotton or silk by painting hot wax and immersing in dye colors, one at a time to create a finished "painting" that can then be framed and last for years to come.
• The Arsenault Gallery will debut the new “Getaways” collection and serve light refreshments.
