Guess-Fisher Gallery features fine art batik paintings by Natalie Guess, a professional batik artist for more than 31 years. She has been living and creating her work in Naples for the last 30 years. Batik is an art form of painting with hot clear wax on silk or cotton and immersing in dyes one color at a time to create a fine art painting. She has a number of her works on display in her studio space, in the back as well as the front gallery. She is one of a very few working in the batik medium in the United States. She can be found working on her batiks and will gladly discuss the process and the medium as it is an exciting way to paint!
Feel free to stop in and look around at the beautiful works of art that she has created in batik and her numerous clay pieces, as well. Custom picture framing is offered here, as well as a plentiful selection of art items, great for gift giving.
After eight years on 5th Avenue South, Guess-Fisher Gallery has recently moved to Crayton Cove. We are now located in the back portion of Phil Fisher Gallery.
